Ronda Rousey weds UFC heavyweight Travis Browne in Hawaii
Not everyone in the world of combat sports was transfixed on the big fight at T-Mobile Arena on Saturday night.
UFC fighters Ronda Rousey and Travis Browne apparently took advantage of all the attention focused on the fight between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather to quietly get married in Hawaii over the weekend.
Browne posted a photo of the couple in their wedding attire on his Instagram page.
“What an amazing day!!” he wrote. “She is so perfect in every way! She makes me so happy! She is my other half! I Love You @rondarousey #browsey2017”
The fighters had previously said the guest list would be extremely limited. UFC president Dana White indicated on a radio show he was unable to attend because he of his obligations at the fight in Las Vegas.
Browne, 35, has lost his last four fights. The 30-year-old Rousey has not indicated whether she will continue fighting after dropping her last two bouts.
