NBA MVP Steph Curry: President Obama talked trash on golf course — VIDEO

Stephen Curry has had an amazing summer. The NBA Most Valuable Player led the Golden State Warriors to the NBA title in June, became a father for the second time in July and on Saturday teamed up with his dad, former NBA sharpshooter Dell Curry, for a round of golf against President Obama and Jesus.

To clarify, the Jesus we're referring to is former NBA star Ray Allen, who played the role of "Jesus Shuttlesworth" in the movie "He Got Game," but it was an impressive foursome nonetheless.

Steph Curry shared a cart with Obama, who acted as the MVP's chauffeur at Farm Neck Golf Club on Martha's Vineyard.

"They're not going to trust me to drive the president," Curry cracked during an appearance Tuesday on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

Not that Obama was fawning over his passenger.

"The president was talking trash," Curry told Kimmel. "Basically it would be a 4-foot putt and in friendly games you're not really playing for money or betting or anything, usually it's a gimme.

"He'd be crickets, just silent, looking at you like 'All right, you going to mark your putt? All right, you going to make that?' Put the pressure on you, that kind of deal. Talk about how you're shaking and all that kind of stuff."

Obama also jabbed his playing partner.

"He made fun of Ray Allen, saying he had a posse and needed a bus for all the people he brought to the course to meet the president. All that stuff," Curry said. "He tries to get in your head.

"There's 25 Secret Service agents on every hole, so I couldn't relax at all. Snipers everywhere."

Curry, a 2-handicap, shot 76 but said he cracked under pressure on the final hole, taking a triple-bogey that cost his team the match.

"It was my fault," he said. "Hopefully we'll get a rematch."

Cracked Kimmel: "It's probably for the best. You don't want to get audited or anything like that."

STALKING CURRY — Curry can shake just about anybody on the planet on the hardwood, but he had a hard time Tuesday losing an autograph stalker on the road.

Curry tweeted about the unsettling situation: "PSA. Noticeably following my family's car on the road for nearly 30 miles & tailing me the whole way is not the best way to get an autograph."

It was probably Matthew Dellavedova.
