This is a photograph of Sproule Love, 43, as he climbs the last flight of stairs to win the seventh Scale the Strat at Stratosphere Tower on Sunday.

The New York City stair master climbed the 1,455 steps and 108 floors in 7 minutes, 22 seconds.

So the next time a cat gets caught in a tree, Sproule Love is your man. Plus if they ever make “Towering Inferno II” there may be a small part in it for him.

This year’s event attracted a record 630 climbers who raised $212,000 for the American Lung Association in Nevada. People can still donate to the cause by visiting the Fight for Air Climb website.

The A’s announced their first Las Vegas ballpark investor in Aramark Sports + Entertainment. The company will also be the concessionaire for the team’s Strip stadium and become a minority owner in the club.
