Simon Keith’s “Change of Heart” debuts Tuesday on ESPN — VIDEO

By now you may be familiar with the amazing story of former UNLV soccer star Simon Keith — how as a young man he received a heart transplant, and how for the longest time he didn’t tell anybody about it, and how he went on to make history, becoming the first to play competitive professional sports with a transplanted heart.

Starting Tuesday, a lot of people are going to discover his amazing story.

“Change of Heart: The Simon Keith Story” will air on ESPN’s “E:60” at 5 p.m.

Much of the segment was filmed in and around Las Vegas. Some of it was filmed in the United Kingdom.

The part in England — when after 25 years, Simon Keith finally came face to face with the father of the teenage boy who had died so he could live — surely will bring a tear to your eye.
