Rebels will bet on red and black against San Diego State
The UNLV Rebels will play the final home in the first season of the Tony Sanchez era on Saturday, when they host San Diego State. They'll be dressed in what seems to be a homage to the casinos.
In other words, they'll be betting on red and black for a win.
This week's UNLV uniforms will include red jerseys with the red sleeves that feature Hey Reb. The Rebels will wear black pants adorned with the stars from the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign. And they'll go with a red helmet with silver lettering.
San Diego State will likely wear white jerseys, but we're not sure of the rest of their combination.
The Aztecs are wearing for some games a radical helmet design that includes a mayan calendar motif.
