UNLV adds junior college defensive end Noah McGregor

Updated January 14, 2019 - 3:49 pm

Junior college defensive end Noah McGregor became the latest member of UNLV’s recruiting class, signing Monday as a midyear transfer.

McGregor (6 feet 4 inches, 245 pounds) was a freshman at College of the Canyons in Santa Clarita, California, so he will have three seasons of eligibility. He made 13 tackles last season, including 1½ for loss.

“Noah is a long, athletic guy who we think can turn into a heck of a pass rusher for us,” UNLV coach Tony Sanchez said in a statement. “Having him for three years is a big deal and we are fired up to get him.”

McGregor is the 16th member of the Rebels’ recruiting class, giving them up to nine spots to fill. He plans to enroll next week and participate in spring practices.
