UNLV’s Peni Vea cut by Kansas City Chiefs
Former UNLV safety Peni Vea was cut by the Chiefs only a few days after signing with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent.
A four-year starter for the Rebels and the third-leading tackler in school history, Vea signed with the Chiefs on June 7th and was waived on Friday, when Kansas City signed defensive back Bryce Cheek.
