Las Vegas may welcome about 43 million visitors to the city each year, but who exactly are the people visiting Sin City?
To get a sense of who the average Vegas tourist is, the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority teamed up with GLS Research to complete its annual visitor profile study.
According to the LVCVA, the yearly visitor profile, which among other factors, works to “monitor trends in visitor behavior and visitor characteristics” and “determine visitor satisfaction levels,” was completed by interviewing 300 people each month from January through December 2015.
Using data from the annual report, check out the graphic below to see the characteristics of a typical Las Vegas visitor in 2015.
