Check out the snow in Red Rock from a drone — VIDEO

The desert looks really freaky covered in snow. Almost like another world.

At least, it does from a drone.

Amateur photographer Earl Brown caught this quadcopter footage from Calico Basin in Red Rock Canyon about noon, which was hit by more than an inch of snow overnight. (We know, that doesn’t sound like much, but it’s likely our only snow for the year.)

Parts of Summerlin received two inches, while Mount Charleston got 10 inches.

The low clouds around Red Rock Canyon hung around through the afternoon, preserving some of the snow which otherwise melted around Summerlin.
