Couple buys fourth Hyundai from Planet

Rick and Sharene Parini recently purchased the perfect vehicle for them — a 2013 Hyundai Elantra from Planet Hyundai Centennial in the northwest valley.

“This car fits our needs very well,” said Sharene Parini. “The car is roomy and, being a Hyundai, I know it’s going to be so very dependable.”

A retired heavy-duty construction equipment hauler from Illinois, Rick Parini is knowledgeable about machinery and he liked what he saw in the Hyundai.

“This is our fourth Hyundai. We purchased two from the Sahara store and now two from here at Planet’s Centennial location,” he said.

“I like the style, the interior and it’s especially roomy. The other thing I like is the seats go down in the back so that you can have bigger trunk space,” he added, noting he was also impressed by the car’s mechanics. “Especially now with the upgrades in the whole car, for expense purposes this car has so many positives going for it. First off, the fuel mileage is 26 to 27 miles around town. Then, there’s the sleek design of the thing and the overall look.

“Then, too, Sharene is able to get in and out of the vehicle so comfortably and the safety rating is quite impressive.”

The Parinis have not taken their new Elantra for a highway drive yet, but many trips are planned for the future.

“I’m going to be driving it to Reno,” said Sharene Parini. “I know that I’ll feel comfortable on that long stretch. We’d also like to travel to Mesquite and Laughlin.”

The Elantra comes with a 10-year, 100,000-mile engine warranty along with a five-year, 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty.

“It’s a very good thing to have that long a warranty that comes with every new Hyundai,” Sharene Parini added. “Hyundai puts its name behind what it builds. Everything about this car is great.

“My sister and her husband have been out here and they have also purchased three Hyundais. That’s a lot of Hyundais for two families. In fact, I came back to Planet because my sister got a great deal here, too. We were treated very well by our sales consultants Chris Rooney and Dave Spence. The two of them worked together very well and there was no pressure put on us at all during the negotiations. They were very polite and so considerate.”
