Hallmark pegs June and August as the most popular months for saying "I do," but weddings are always in season at Mountain Falls in Pahrump, according to the club's food and beverage director Polly Paolozzi.
"Brides are drawn to our moderate prices, beautiful facility and natural setting," Paolozzi said of the Mediterranean-themed clubhouse and courtyards that play host to weddings. The venue, encircled by mountains, overlooks Mountain Falls Golf Club at the heart of the master-planned community by William Lyon Homes.
"Engaged couples love the one-on-one service and our attention to detail. No matter what the month, they know the stars and our establishment will shine for their big day," she said.
Many brides-to-be are drawn to the club, but Paolozzi said it's also a choice for residents planning birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, reunions, bachelor and bachelorette parties, corporate holiday events and seminars.
"People appreciate the versatility of our banquet room, veranda and two courtyards. We can accommodate a classy event for up to 200 guests or an intimate get-together better suited for our facility than one of our resident's private back patios," she said.
Paolozzi said the club is becoming a favorite venue among Californians.
"Many California couples have families in Pahrump or Las Vegas, so Mountain Falls is ideal for their wedding or event. We offer the perfect meeting spot for guests coming from all directions," Paolozzi said. "Residents who book our facilities really have it made. You can't beat the convenience factor."
Two catering packages and personalization options are available. Party planners can opt for sit-down or buffet-style events featuring hors d'oeuvres, entrees and accompaniments.
"We can customize to virtually any style or theme. Italian, Mexican, western, build your own, mix and match, carving stations -- we do it all in a very creative way," Paolozzi said.
Mountain Falls also offers packages for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Couples can choose from several ceremony settings, plus customization options to accommodate wedding traditions and event styles. Some dates remain available for holiday weddings, parties and events. Reservations are also being accepted for occasions anticipated for 2008 and beyond.
William Lyon Homes' single-story communities of Entrata, Cascata Ancora, Tramonto and Bella Sera offer 14 plans ranging from 1,157 to 2,897 square feet. Residences have up to five bedrooms and four baths. Home buyers can tour model homes at all four communities. Prices start in the upper $100,000s.

Desert Wind Homes' Tivoli is also preselling. The single-story community features three floor plans with 1,938 to 2,097 square feet of living space. Homes have as many as four bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. Prices start in the $200,000s, and model homes are scheduled to debut shortly.
Classic Homes will begin offering additional home choices shortly.
Community amenities include a resident facility with a fitness center, resident lounge with a pool table, multi-purpose room for organized classes and outdoor aquatic center. The adjacent Mountain Falls Grill Room is open to the public. Neighborhood parks and walking trails fill the grounds; more are planned as development continues.
