Dining Pick of the Week: Farm 24-7

Farm 24-7

The Aliante, 7300 Aliante Parkway, 702-692-7777

While many restaurants talk about farm-to-table dining, executive chef George Jacquez is doing it by finding ingredients from farmers markets and local farms, including Cowboy Trail Farms and Gilcrease Orchard. Breakfast is served from 6 to 11 a.m and includes eggs Benedict, country fried steak and eggs, croissant French toast, omelets, Belgian waffle and the Ranch Skillet with scrambled eggs, ranchero sauce, sausage, cheddar cheese and country potatoes. Lunch and dinner are served from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Featured sandwiches are turkey club, grilled meatloaf with onion strings, prime rib dip, patty melt and the G.F. Swift 1855 Angus beef cheeseburger with cheddar, Provolone, American, pepper jack or Swiss. Several entrees are chicken pot pie, fish and chips, liver and onions, grilled salmon, T-bone steak, spaghetti and meatballs, and fried chicken. Among the sides are baked potato, sauteed spinach or mushrooms, jasmine rice, coleslaw and mashed potatoes. There are soups (chicken noodle, chili), salads (chicken Cobb, Chinese chicken) and homemade pies and pastries. A Moonlight Menu takes over from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. with many of the above-listed items, along with appetizers including clam strips, pulled pork sliders, onion dip and shrimp cocktail. Sandwiches start at $8, and breakfast begins at $6. Farm 24-7 is open 24 hours a day.
