Wander into the Poker Palace, and you'll discover a coffee shop with an authentic Mexican menu. Wander in from 6 to 7 a.m. and discover bacon and eggs for $1.99 or steak and eggs for $4.99. Regular breakfast hours are 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. with items such as eggs with ham or chicken fried steak, omelets, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and honey-dipped fried chicken with Belgian waffles. The Mexican menu has enchiladas, tacos, burritos and tostadas with chicken or ground or shredded beef. There are soups (menudo Saturday and Sunday) and salads such as chef. Popular appetizers are spicy Mexican shrimp cocktail, beef taquitos, guacamole, homemade refried bean dip and Mexican ceviche with scallops, whitefish, serrano peppers, cilantro, red and green peppers and lemon-lime juice. Half-pound Angus beef burgers come with fries and include the West Coast (grilled Parmesan and mozzarella bread) and the Fire Cracker with jalapenos and pepper jack. Among the dinner entrees are catfish with hush puppies and chopped sirloin. Burgers begin at $6.99 and appetizers at $3.99. Maddy's Paddy is open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday.
