Family welcomes second Hyundai

Jody and John Jeppsen said they couldn’t be happier with the two vehicles they purchased from Planet Hyundai, 7150 W. Sahara Ave.

Their newest purchase is a 2013 Hyundai Elantra, for which they had plenty of praise.

“The Elantra has amazing looks,” said Jody Jeppsen, a stay-at-home mother of four and 22-year resident of Las Vegas. “The car is built very well. It looks and feels like a BMW for a lot less money.

“My husband drives a Sonata we also purchased at Planet Hyundai on Sahara. The warranty is amazing and the dealership gave me such a good price.”

Jeppsen also praised her sales consultant, Tony Fisher, for his dedicated and friendly approach when working on the transaction.

“Tony is very good at what he does . I told him what I wanted and the numbers I wanted, and he worked hard to get everything right for us.”

Jeppsen said she wanted her new car in a particular color and Fisher didn’t waste time finding her the perfect vehicle.

“I wanted the indigo blue night color. Tony looked and looked and got the car right off the truck when it arrived at the dealership. He called and told me to come down and see it.”

As with every car deal at Planet Hyundai, the warranty included in the Jeppsens’ purchase was all-important.

“The warranty is amazing,” she said.

The Elantra came with a four-cylinder engine, along with a 10-year, 100,000-mile power train warranty and five-year, 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper coverage.

“It gets 36 miles to the gallon,” Jeppsen said. “We especially appreciate good gas mileage considering how the prices have started to increase again.”

Fisher said he loves the car business and he hasn’t looked back since moving into the industry. He was named the nation’s top-selling Hyundai sales consultant for 2007.

“There’s something very refreshing about finding someone the car they want,” he said. “When everything comes together like it did for this transaction, it’s really neat.

“And besides, the Jeppsens are very nice people. One thing that I never anticipated when I went into the car business was the friends that I’d make thanks to a transaction. People appreciate someone who not only tries to get the right car but also does it in a timely fashion. This is hard work but there’s nothing like seeing a deal come together like this one did for the Jeppsens.”
