BIKE SWAP RETURNS TO HENDERSON
Henderson is schedule to host its second annual Bike Swap and Ride from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 29 at Cornerstone Park, 1600 Wigwam Parkway.
The free event is expected to feature vendors on bicycle safety and maintenance. Participants can trade or sell gently used bicycle parts.

HENDERSON TO SPONSOR EGG DIVE
In honor of Easter, the city of Henderson is expected to host an egg dive at 1 p.m. April 19 at the Whitney Ranch Activity Pool, 1575 Galleria Drive.
Dozens of eggs are expected to be hidden at the bottom of the pool for swimmers to find.
The event costs $5 per person and is open to all ages.

ENTRIES SOUGHT FOR PARADE
Henderson is seeking entries for its 2014 Henderson Heritage Parade, scheduled at 10 a.m. April 26 on Water Street.
The theme is “Let’s Go to the Market,” which celebrates the 15th anniversary of the Henderson Farmers Market.

FOUNDATION PLANS FOOTBALL GAME
The Second Chance Foundation is scheduled to host its inaugural flag football game and barbecue at 11 a.m. March 30 at Acacia Park, 50 Casa Del Fuego St.

PRESERVE TO HOST BIRDING CELEBRATION
The Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, 350 E. Galleria Drive, is scheduled to host its annual Birding Celebration from 8 a.m. to noon April 26.
The event is slated to celebrate Earth Day and International Migratory Bird Day.

LEADERSHIP HENDERSON ANNUAL FUNDRAISER SLATED
The Henderson Chamber Foundation and Leadership Henderson are planning to host the fourth annual Biddin’ for Bottles fundraiser at 6 p.m. March 29 at Grape Expectations, 7360 Eastgate Road.
Guests are expected to have an opportunity to bid on wine bottles and win silent auction gift baskets.
Last year, the event raised more than $10,000.
Proceeds are planned to benefit Living Grace Homes, Home, nonprofit that provides safe haven for pregnant teens.

E BUNNY COLLECTING EASTER BASKETS FOR VALLEY CHILDREN
The 2014 Easter Basket Drive is scheduled through April 11.
Donors are encouraged to pick new prepackaged Easter baskets that can be dropped off at any E Bunny location. The drive is planned to benefit homeless, sick and underprivileged children.
