KB Home to host Memorial Day sales event valleywide

KB Home is celebrating Memorial Day with a special sales event at all of its Las Vegas area communities.

Through June 5, those home shoppers who purchase a new home in any one of KB Home's 14 neighborhoods may be eligible to receive an $8,000 credit to be spent on KB Home Studio options and/or closing costs.

In order to qualify for this offer, buyers must finance with KBA Mortgage LLC, according to company officials.

Homebuyers who purchase a KB home in Providence, a master-planned community in the northwestern valley may be eligible to receive an $8,000 credit.

KB Home's Brighton Coventry collection is located in the community. It features a 1,670-square-foot, single-story, ranch-style home.

Three additional plans range from 1,914 to 2,602 square feet with as many five bedrooms, 2½ baths and two-car garages.

All homes are designed to be open and flexible, with great rooms located toward the back of the home adjacent to the kitchen. In some plans, a traditional den space can be converted into an additional bedroom or utilized as a home office, study or media room.

All KB homes in the Providence are designed to help homeowners save money on monthly expenses by earning both the Environmental Agency Protection's Energy Star as well as NV Energy's Energy Plus certifications.

Features such as programmable thermostats, radiant-barrier roof lining, low-e windows and efficient heating and cooling systems all help keep household utility bills low, according to company officials.

To better illustrate the advantages of such a home, KB Home now includes its Energy Performance Guide in all its new homes.

Similar to an MPG sticker on cars, the EPG provides KB homebuyers with estimated monthly electric and gas costs for their new home, as well as valuable information on the home's relative energy efficiency when compared to a typical new home or resale home.

Estimated monthly heating and cooling bills for homes from the Brighton Coventry collection are as low as $85 for select floor plans, according to company officials.

The Brighton sales center is located at 7047 Brighton Village in Las Vegas.
