Las Vegas good bet for GOP strategist Frank Luntz
December 18, 2013 - 7:02 am
GOP strategist, political consultant and pollster Frank Luntz is moving to Las Vegas, it was learned Tuesday. Luntz, 51, is well-known in the gaming community, as well as Nevada political circles.
“Instead of pitting red vs blue, (he’s) betting red vs black,” tweeted David Folkenflik, National Public Radio’s media correspondent, after I reported Luntz’s move on Twitter.
In addition to his polling and focus groups, Luntz has worked for CBS, Fox News and other major media outlets as a political analyst.
He has helped Republicans shape their messages by stressing certain words. In 2007, his book “Words That Work: It’s Not What You Say, It’s What People Hear,” made the New York Times Best Seller list.
Luntz could not be reached for comment by deadline.
