Las Vegas native heads Mira Villa sales team

The director of sales at Mira Villa, Summerlin's luxury condominium community, has a personal relationship to, and sense of pride in the Las Vegas community. Tera Anderson is a second-generation Las Vegas native who heads up sales for Mira Villa, a project that she views as "a perfect fit for the area."

Anderson attended middle school at the Milton I. Schwartz Hebrew Academy and graduated from Durango High School prior to earning her bachelor's degree from the University of Puget Sound and pursuing her career in luxury and resort real estate.

"It's great to be back and working in the community that I call home," Anderson said. "After pursuing my career outside of Nevada, I always knew that I'd return. When the opportunity arose again to work with the luxury real estate team Nexus 30, which represents Mira Villa, I jumped at the chance."

Early in her career Anderson worked with Todd Grotstein, president and founder of Nexus 30 (then working with Prudential Americana High-Rise Division), on a downtown Las Vegas project called Streamline Tower (now The Ogden) at the dawn of the city's reurbanization efforts.

"That was a very satisfying and pivotal project for me," Anderson said. "There was a great energy and vision of developing an urban area that was local-centric and lent itself to a thriving business and cultural economy off the Vegas Strip. We were involved at the very beginning of that movement and there was an overwhelming sense of pride in the betterment of Las Vegas. I was proud to be from a forward-thinking community like this."

After Anderson's involvement with Streamline Tower, she worked on resort projects in Idaho and Arizona before the opportunity to return to Las Vegas presented itself.

"For me, there is a real sense of place and time for the Mira Villa project," Anderson said. "It's rare that all of the aspects of a development line up this well when it's time to go to market. Mira Villa has location, quality construction, amenities, and a well-positioned price point starting in the upper-$300,000s. All of these qualities are essential to prospective buyers, and in line with today's market needs and demands."

Mira Villa is a gated, luxury condominium community located 15 minutes from the Strip in the heart of Summerlin.

It overlooks the TPC Las Vegas and Angel Park golf courses in the master-planned community's Canyons Village. It is located near shopping, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, the Academy of Nevada Ballet Theatre, Red Rock National Conservation Area and casinos.

The community comprises 21 midrise buildings constructed of concrete and steel with emphasis on sound abatement and state-of-the-art fire protection.

Amenities include panoramic golf-front, city, mountain and Las Vegas Strip views; well-designed floor plans; expansive private terraces; private two-car garages; private elevators; pool, spa, fitness center and outdoor barbecue areas.

A relationship with JW Marriott allows owners to take advantage of discounted spa and salon treatments, nightly room rates, discounted food and beverages, complimentary shuttle service to the resort and golf concierge, in-home catering service, in-home housekeeping services and pool memberships and day-rates.

Additionally, Mira Villa owners benefit from a relationship with TPC Las Vegas, which includes discounted rounds of golf and other amenities.
