Las Vegas ranks No. 7 least healthy US city
When 2015 rolled in, many made resolutions related to their health, e.g., lose weight, drink more water, exercise, etc.
But the journey to cleaner living isn’t easy. Especially since Las Vegas was just ranked No. 7 as the least healthy city in America.
Graded on the following criteria, BetterDoctor.com compiled a list of the least healthy cities in the U.S.:
- Percentage of highly rated doctors per state (via BetterDoctor’s comprehensive, seven-variable algorithm)
- Number of residents with health insurance coverage (to determine medical care feasibility)
- Physical fitness (eating habits, exercise rates, chronic health problems/disease rates, access to recreational activities)
Based on a 100-point scale, here are the 25 U.S. cities that could use some help:
