Man arrested for stabbing brother over TV remote control

A man was recovering Tuesday after being stabbed by his brother following an argument over the TV remote control, according to San Diego police.

The brothers reportedly began arguing at their Mission Valley home on Caminito Cascara just before midnight Monday, KSWB TV in San Diego reported. In the heat of the argument, one of the men, 28, hit his brother with a cane, at which point his 25-year-old sibling retaliated by stabbing him in the chest.

The older brother was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover from his wound, police said. Officers arrested the younger brother.
