Man posing as armored truck driver steals $75K from Wal-Mart

A man with a gun and a bulletproof vest pretending to be an armored truck driver is being sought by police after they say he stole $75,000 from an Oklahoma Wal-Mart over the weekend.

The man, who went into the Wal-Mart on Saturday, convinced employees he was there for Loomis Armored and the mistake wasn’t realized until the actual Loomis driver showed up not too long after, News on 6 reported.

The man drove away in a Chevy Malibu with $75,000, police said.

Federal authorities said there is a possibility the man is a former Loomis or Wal-Mart employee.
