Nevada Democratic leaders poked fun at Republican nominee Donald Trump on multiple fronts at Hillary Clinton’s Las Vegas rally on Thursday.
U.S. Rep. Dina Titus, D-Nev., described the real estate mogul’s campaign as a “clown car” in her remarks to the audience of about 1,400 before Clinton took the stage. She dubbed Trump as the “number 1 Bozo.”
In his remarks, U.S. Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., called Trump an “egomaniac.”
Trump drubbings aside, Reid doesn’t want Democratic egos to become outsized before Election Day. Reid reminded Clinton supporters to not take anything for granted in the election.
“Don’t be overconfident,” Reid said. “Work hard. We’ve got to win this.”
