New Fusion proves popular for Friendly Ford sales agent

The 2015 Ford Fusion has a wide-reaching demographic ranging from 20-year-olds to retirees.

Friendly Ford sales agent Chris Montalvo says the popularity of the Fusion can be best judged by the fact that 35-40 percent of his sales in the past year have been to Fusion buyers.

“People love the Fusion,” said Montalvo, a 33-year-old native of Long Island, N.Y.. “The styling is second-to-none, the quality of workmanship and durability is Ford’s best work and the ride and the power are unbelievable.”

The Fusion has four available power plants starting with a base 2.5 liter four cylinder highlighted by its 175 horsepower; along with a 181 horsepower 1.5 EcoBoost turbo charged four cylinder; and the two-liter turbo charged EcoBoost four cylinder that creates 240 horsepower.

Add in the two-liter Atkinson-Cycle 1-4 hybrid with a gas and electric combined 188 horsepower and Ford has a wide array of available power plants that can get as much as 44 miles to the gallon for the hybrid.

“Ford got it right when it introduced the Fusion several years ago,” Montalvo said. “They paid so much attention to detail that they even perfectly placed the exterior mirrors so they were as aerodynamic as possible and create the best fuel economy as possible.

“In addition, the car is so quiet thanks to Ford’s engineers who designed the car to cut down on wind noise.”

Montalvo said the Fusion’s interior includes an available Sony sound system with HD radio.

The dealership, which is one of the oldest in the state, is at 660 N. Decatur Blvd. and has been at that location for more than 44 years. For more information, call 702-870-7221 or visit www.friendlyfordlv.com.
