Not everyone is a fan in thief priest case

I aim to please, but you can't please all the people all the time. Or, in my case, most of the time.
This is one of the many responses I have received regarding the Monsignor Kevin McAuliffe theft case. Hey, it's only 650K.
Enjoy at my expense:
Dear Mr. High and Mighty,
I am a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton. I was appalled by your article about Monsignor Kevin. You should be ashamed of speaking so harshly about a man who has dedicated his life to helping others and fell from grace because of loneliness and depression. Perhaps you should try living a life of celibacy and relative isolation for a while and see how your psyche responds to temptation around you – especially gambling that is such a ready vice in Vegas. People make mistakes – yes, sometimes big ones! Your lack of understanding is only outdone by your lack of compassion. Whether in a position of “trust” or not, Monsignor Kevin is a human being – subject to all the failings that come with that. Many in our faith have compassion for him. I am certainly one of them. However, I feel no mercy for you. May the Lord repay you for your insensitivity and inability to forgive rather than judge God’s servant. I know the Lord has forgiven Monsignor Kevin. I pray he never forgives you for your lofty arrogance. Perhaps you should be reminded : “there, but for the grace of God, go I.”
