CONSTRUCTION

McCarthy Building Companies Inc. named Heidi Zupancic client service manager. Zupancic brings 30 years of construction, development and corporate customer service experience, and is versed in contract negotiations, document preparation, site management, construction scheduling and project estimating.

FINANCE

Nevada State Bank named John VanderPloeg retail business banking sales manager. Previously, VanderPloeg served as senior vice president/region manager for Region 3 in Southern Nevada, heading up the bank’s retail network that includes 26 branches. He has held several management positions at Nevada State Bank, including branch manager, district manager and vice president/senior real estate operations officer.

Tsering Song joined Meadows Bank as a financial servicing analyst to the bank’s SBA team. Previously with One Nevada Credit Union, City National, Sun West and US Bank, Tsering brings a breadth of commercial banking experience which will be an asset to the SBA servicing department.

LAW

Fennemore Craig Jones Vargas selected Amy Abdo and Chris Byrd as members of the firm’s management committee. The committee consists of five attorneys responsible for setting the firm’s direction and maintaining the firm’s standard of providing high-quality legal services.

Ryan Loosvelt, a partner of Duane Morris LLP, was named one of the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in the State of Nevada for 2014 by the American Society of Legal Advocates.

Lionel Sawyer & Collins shareholder Doreen Spears Hartwell has been selected to serve on the Nevada Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission. Co-chaired by Justice James Hardesty and Justice Michael Douglas, the commission aims to improve the delivery and funding of legal service programs, pro bono services and self-help services.

REAL ESTATE

Colliers International – Las Vegas named Amber Tesoro marketing project manager. Tesoro will use her experience in media relations, advertising, social media and event planning for the creation and implementation of marketing strategies to promote Colliers. The company also named Delia Dominguez senior associate. Dominguez will serve in both Colliers International’s office and health care services divisions, representing various local and national tenants. Her responsibilities will include property analysis and trend research in the Las Vegas real estate market.

NAI Vegas named Mark J. Musser partner. Musser joins NAI Vegas after 13 years at local and national real estate firms. He will specialize in the marketing and sale of commercial real estate.

Panattoni Development Company’s SHFL entertainment project received a NAIOP Southern Nevada Spotlight Award in recognition of the project’s impact on the local economy.
