BANKING
Nevada State Bank named Stephanie Carrero branch manager for its Rainbow and Westcliff branch, where she will oversee banking operations and client services.
CONSTRUCTION
Andrea Paschell has joined the AJB General Contractor team as accounting director. Paschell has worked in the construction business in Las Vegas for more than 20 years.
The $1.4 billion, 2 million-square-foot McCarran International Airport Terminal 3 building has earned a 2013 AIA Nevada Merit Award for Architecture. Designed by PGAL LLC Las Vegas, the three-level, half-mile-long terminal has the country’s most advanced airport operations and passenger/baggage systems. It houses 14 aircraft gates and terminal facilities for 30 adjacent gates.

Lionel Sawyer & Collins has been recognized in the 2014 U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” as having the most first-tier rankings among all law firms in Nevada. The firm received 19 first-tier metropolitan honors in 14 practice areas in Las Vegas and five earned by its Reno office.

Vegas PBS has named Bruce Spotleson director of corporate partnerships. In his new position, Spotleson is responsible for leading the sponsorship team in developing corporate and institutional support for Vegas PBS.
NONPROFIT
Epicurean Charitable Foundation Las Vegas named Melissa Arias executive director. In her role, Arias is responsible for overseeing all fundraising, scholarship activities and day-to-day operations for the organization while working collaboratively with the executive committee, board of directors and the students.
Andy Durling of Wood Rodgers Inc. has been named president of the Nevada Chapter of the American Planning Association, with his two-year term commencing in January. Previously, Durling served as the director for the Northern Section of the APA’s Nevada Chapter, a position he has held since 2006.
Carole Fisher, president and CEO of Nathan Adelson Hospice, was honored Oct. 19 with a national Kimberley Evans Compassion Award, which recognizes individuals who have shown exceptional generosity of time, heart, spirit and resources to support families and children in need.
Natasha Conner has been selected to participate in the 2014 class of Leadership Henderson. Conner, senior property manager for the Henderson portfolio, has been with Harsch Investment Properties for more than nine years and is responsible for more than 1.6 million square feet.
UTILITIES
Bobby Hollis, executive of renewable energy for NV Energy, has been named to the Solar Electric Power Association board of directors. The board is made up of 20 individuals, allowing for representation from a broad spectrum of the utility and solar industries.
