One person injured in North Las Vegas house fire

One person is in critical condition after a house fire Sunday night in North Las Vegas.

Neighbors first reported smoke and flames coming from the single-story home near Cheyenne Avenue and Pecos Road at 9:25 p.m.

It took firefighters approximately seven minutes to put out the fire at at 3412 Palomar Ave., according to the North Las Vegas Fire Department.

The cause of the fire is unknown at this time. No other injuries have been reported.
