Pardee homebuyer trades climate

When Harold Gumayagay moved to Las Vegas in 2007, he knew that he was ready to leave behind the harsh winters in the Midwest.

Before his move, the registered nurse had looked into cities where his employer had medical centers and the opportunity for him to transfer.

"I was a registered nurse in Kansas City and was ready to make a change, mostly because of the weather," said Gumayagay, a native of the Philippines. "I have family in California and decided on Las Vegas in order to transfer with my employer and be closer to my family."

"I love living in Mountain's Edge," Gumayagay said. "It is very peaceful and I'm enjoying learning my way around and hosting lots of friends and family in my new home."
