Pardee offers one-story Durango Ranch homes

It has been a busy first year of sales at Pardee Homes’ Durango Ranch community in southwestern Las Vegas. Since opening in February of last year, the all single-story home neighborhood has maintained a brisk sales pace, Pardee Homes’ Regional Sales Director Rob Tuvell said.

“Durango Ranch started off strong and hasn’t slowed down,” he said. “The collection of single-story plans with one-third-acre home sites and optional casitas remains a popular choice among buyers.”

Durango Ranch, near the southeast corner of Durango Drive and Pebble Road in the southwest valley, features single-story plans that range from 2,972 to 3,849 square feet.

The homes feature as many as five bedrooms, optional detached casitas, three-car garages, Nevada Rooms — optional enclosed rooms instead of a covered patio — large kitchens, great rooms and optional recreational vehicle parking pads. Prices start at $388,490.

Plan One offers three bedrooms, three baths, office or optional fourth bedroom, great room, dining room and three-car garage in 2,972 square feet.

Plan Two measures 3,420 square feet with three bedrooms, office or optional fourth bedroom, three baths, game, great and dining rooms, covered patio or optional Nevada Room and three-car garage.

Plan Three measures 3,849 square feet with four bedrooms and den, options for a fifth bedroom or office, 3½ baths, dining, game and great rooms, optional Nevada Room on the covered patio and three-car garage.

The homes include standard features such as 42-inch birch kitchen cabinets, stainless steel appliances, slab-granite kitchen countertops in a choice of four colors and two-tone interior paint.

Durango Ranch is also part of Pardee Homes’ LivingSmart program, which includes standard and optional measures that boost energy efficiency, save water, improve indoor air quality and encourage material conservation and the use of recycled or sustainable resources in new homes, Tuvell said.

LivingSmart provides more than 30 earth-friendly standard and optional systems and features for new-home buyers, and it applies to every newly designed home the company offers, he said.

Offered exclusively for Pardee home buyers in this market, Smart Move Advantage, an independent company, will rent a qualified buyer’s existing home for as long as three years.

And through Pardee’s Homeward Bound program, prospective buyers receive expert assistance on credit issues that can affect home loan availability.
