Parkside to open in November

The Parkside at Centennial Springs neighborhood has garnered much home-shopper interest during initial presales as builder Harmony Homes places the finishing touches on three new model homes in preparation for its November grand opening.

"People are buying homes at Parkside at Centennial Springs even before the models are open just based on the floor plans and site maps featured in our sales office," sales associate Ray Abraham said.

"Our initial buyers have been impressed by not only the home designs and included features, but also its Centennial Hills location in the northwestern valley and its overall value," Abraham said. "Parkside at Centennial Springs is a nice, little intimate community that offers buyers just about everything they could want nearby. There are parks, schools, recreational center with swimming pool and shopping nearby, plus convenient access to (U.S. Highway) 95. Everything is so close by. Location is a key.

"Besides the location, they are getting great value in each home. Parkside at Centennial Springs definitely exceeds the standard of homes offered by other builders and includes many design features that are often upgrades in other neighborhoods such as granite counter tops and paver-stone driveways. They are all Energy Star-certified and include many standard energy-efficient features including 13 SEER-rated air-conditioning units, low-e windows, programmable thermostat and tankless water heaters," he said. "We definitely provide more than what is considered 'standard' at Parkside at Centennial Springs."

The neighborhood features three two-story designs that measure from 1,559 to 1,836 square feet and offer three bedrooms, an optional fourth bedroom and 2½ baths. Prices start from $129,900.

Each offers a second-floor laundry room located near the bedrooms. Additionally, each offers granite kitchen countertops with a backsplash, a ceramic-tile entry, recessed lighting, ceiling fan prewiring in the master bedroom and family room, finished garages with insulated garage doors, paver-stone driveways and front-yard desert landscaping with drip irrigation.

Abraham said the Residence Three design in particular has garnered buyer interest during presales.

Priced from $152,990, this 1,836-square-foot home features three bedrooms, den or optional fourth bedroom, great room and loft, as well as courtyard entry.

"Our biggest model, the Residence Three, really appeals to buyers. What's interesting about this home's design is that it has a wraparound, attached casita with a courtyard. You may see this in custom homes but usually not in homes for first-time buyers or in move-up homes. The design appeals to buyers of all levels," he said.

To visit the sales office at 7509 Nicklin St., take U.S. Highway 95 north to the Durango Drive exit and turn right. At the first stoplight, turn right on Farm Road/El Capitan Way. Turn right on Tule Springs Road and then right on Orly Avenue, following the signs.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon. Call the sales office at 272-2200 for further details.

Harmony Homes is locally owned and operated by a builder with more than 20 years experience.

The builder offers 17 additional neighborhoods located throughout the valley, with single- and two-story homes ranging from 1,312 to more than 4,000 square feet and priced from the $90,000s.

All new homes come with Harmony Homes' warranty that covers all components for two years and the home's structure for 10 years.
