Planet Hyundai Cares will present free 2012 Accent

A heartwarming holiday campaign will result in a lucky Southern Nevada receiving a 2012 Hyundai. Entitled "Planet Hyundai Cares," the campaign will culminate with the awarding of the brand-new 2012 vehicle.

Those wishing to nominate someone they feel has made positive contributions within the local community can do so by visiting www.planethyundaicares.com. Nominations have been received steadily since the campaign started in November.

Key to the promotion is the fact that the car is a true giveaway rather than a lease. Possibly even more important is that while many giveaways stipulate that the recipient pays the taxes and fees, the ownership of Planet Hyundai's two dealerships are absorbing those costs, too.

In addition, the winner of the 2012 Accent will receive the 10-year, 100-mile powertrain warranty, along with the five-year, 60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty that comes with each new Hyundai.

Finally, the Accent comes with Hyundai's Assurance trade-in guarantee that ensures the future value of every new Hyundai by guaranteeing today exactly how much it will be worth two, three or four years from the date the car is purchased.

Finalists will be announced Dec. 27; the Accent will be presented Dec. 30.
