The Uconnect, touchscreen infotainment system comes in all models of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge in the northwest valley is inviting area residents to visit the dealership and learn more about the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
According to the dealership, the SUV is making headlines in the automotive community with some of the most innovative improvements in Jeep’s 73-year history.
One of the most unique features in the 2014 Grand Cherokee lies in the dashboard: an 8.4-inch Uconnect, touchscreen infotainment system, which comes standard on each model. This technologically advanced tool allows drivers to control climate, radio, Bluetooth connectivity, Sirius radio and 3-D navigation. It also has an option that will read incoming text messages aloud.
The 2014 Grand Cherokee has a faster and more powerful engine; the 3.0-liter ecodiesel turbocharged V-6 engine makes 240 horsepower and 420 pound feet of torque, allowing it to tow as much as 7,400 pounds. The environmentally friendly Eco engine V-6 offers 11 percent better gas mileage, up to 30 mpg on the highway, and lower carbon dioxide emissions, according to a dealership spokesperson.
Interior features include a 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, dual zone temperature control, seat and mirror memory, front and second row heated seats, along with eight-way positioning and eight-way driver lumbar support.
Exterior features include dark tinted windows to limit the impact of the valley’s heat, light-emitting diode lights and premium aluminum wheels. The Overland and Summit models include a dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee is now available at Prestige Chrysler Jeep Dodge and is priced from $30,490.
The dealership is at 6520 Centennial Center Blvd. Sales hours are 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
