Renovations, grand opening improve Valley Automall

The economic downturn has forced some automotive dealerships to close their doors or cut operating costs by reducing staff. Valley Automall is adopting a different approach by growing while others shrink.

Valley Automall now consists of 18 dealerships and 26 automotive brands, making it Southern Nevada's largest and most comprehensive selection. The complex is accessible from U.S Highway 95 at Auto Show Drive and the Las Vegas Beltway at Gibson Road in Henderson.

"We're committed to a high level of community service despite the economy," said Valley Automall manager Valorie Staley. "Budget-conscious families know we're a one-stop shop solution for reasonably priced, reliable vehicles. We value their trust and loyalty."

Valley Automall's newest improvements include an upgraded Findlay Lincoln dealership at 310 N. Gibson Road.

The 55,000-square-foot facility, located on 7.25 acres, recently added new furniture and carpet, paint and lighting. The improvements at Findlay Lincoln created a small café, as well as a customer lounge with wireless Internet access and TV.

Improving the Findlay Lincoln car-buying experience is a renovated service area, with 22 bays and 14 certified mechanics. Findlay Lincoln employs 52 highly trained professionals to meet customer needs.

"One of exciting additions is a 'quick lane' for routine automotive maintenance. Customers can get their oil changed or tires aligned within 30 minutes," General Manager Nathan Findlay said.

Another Valley Automall addition comes from the newly opened Lexus of Henderson dealership at 7736 Eastgate Road.

The 83,400-square-foot facility, located on 10.26 acres, is an eco-friendly building. The dealership earned a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The dealership uses high-pressure, low-flow plumbing fixtures and drought-tolerant desert landscaping reduce water use by 40 percent. A high-efficiency heating and air-conditioning system cuts energy use by 35 percent. The car wash recycles 85 percent of the water it uses.

"This is part of our continuing effort to be green, which is a win-win for customer and the environment," said Lexus of Henderson General Manager William Johnson III. "Lexus offers many luxury hybrids, new and used."

Yet, Lexus of Henderson doesn't skimp on luxury. There are seven customer lounges outfitted with oversized leather chairs and artwork, 60-inch televisions and refrigerators. There is Wi-Fi access, a children's play area and a café.

"Every customer -- both new and repeat -- is a part of our Valley Automall's growing family," said Staley. "We're dedicated to top-quality performance and service. We have built our reputation on happy, repeat customers."

The Valley Automall is the Southwest's largest auto mall, with thousands of new and used vehicles. Valley Automall dealers include Audi Henderson, Chapman Chrysler-Jeep, Courtesy Imports, Courtesy Mazda, Desert BMW, Desert Pontiac-GMC, Findlay Acura, Findlay Cadillac-Saab, Findlay Honda Henderson, Findlay Lincoln, Findlay Toyota, Findlay Volkswagen, Ford Country, Henderson Chevrolet, Henderson Nissan, Lexus of Henderson, Mercedes-Benz of Henderson, and Towbin Dodge.
