Report: Secret Service agents hit barricades after night of drinking

WASHINGTON — Obama administration officials are probing allegations that two senior Secret Service agents drove a government car into White House security barricades last week after drinking at a late-night party, the Washington Post reported on Wednesday.

One of the agents under investigation included a top member of President Barack Obama’s protective detail, the Post said, citing an official of the agency charged with protecting the president.

The Secret Service has had a series of security lapses in recent years.
