Ryland kitchens offer options in new floor plans

Fall is in the air and Southern Nevada home shoppers are already starting to think about gathering with family and friends to celebrate the season.

Ryland Homes offers plenty of kitchen options at Cordova Estates in Henderson and Kensington in northwest Las Vegas.

The Cambria and Corbel floor plans at Cordova Estates and Kensington can include General Electric monogram appliances, a dual wall oven, professional gas, six-burner cooktop, extended cabinets and countertops, industrial Monogram hood and 42-inch upper cabinets.

"It is perfect for those who enjoy entertaining and appreciate the value of a gourmet kitchen in their homes," said Ken Harrell, Cordova Estates sales agent.

Cordova Estates is a gated neighborhood and has its own community park. Five floor plans are offered, ranging from 2,104 to 3,200 square feet in single- and two-story plans with as many as six bedrooms, as many as three baths and some have a three-car garage. Pricing starts in the mid-$200,000s.

"It is one of the few gated communities in the area that has no LIDs (local improvement district, SIDs (special improvement district) or master plan fees," Harrell said.

Kensington is a gated neighborhood within the Providence master-planned community.

It has five plans ranging from 2,104 to 3,230 square feet with prices starting in the low $200,000s. As many as six bedrooms and as many as 3½ baths are available with dozens of options.

"This is also one of the rare neighborhoods in Providence that offers pool-sized homesites," sales agent Rhonda Polk said.

The Cambria floor plan, which includes an option for a gourmet kitchen, is shown as a model at Kensington and Cordova Estates.

The two-story home measures 3,200 square feet, and has as many as six bedrooms, as many as three baths and a three-car garage. Its options include a den, game room and sun room.

The Corbel floor plan is also shown as a model at Cordova Estates and Kensington. This single-story home has 2,400 square feet with as many as four bedrooms, as many as three baths and a two-car garage.

"In the Corbel, the kitchen opens up to the dining room and a large great room, so it is the perfect place to entertain with a gourmet kitchen," Polk said.

"And if a gourmet kitchen is not your style but you want a great value or other design upgrades, our fall incentive has recently been extended through the end of the month," Harrell said.

He said Ryland's Rake In The Savings event will run through the end of this month. It offers new homebuyers at any Ryland community in Southern Nevada 20 percent off options in its My Style Design Center.

"There are hundreds of design options to choose from, so you can turn your own vision for your home into a reality," Harrell said.

Every residence in Kensington and Cordova Estates is Energy Star qualified and includes energy-efficient air conditioning systems, low-emissivity windows, vinyl window frames and radiant heat barriers inside each roof.

Homes in the two neighborhoods include standard design features like Corian kitchen countertops, raised-panel doors, lever door handles and cultured marble bath countertops.

Ryland Homes is selling new homes in 11 collections throughout Southern Nevada with sales offices open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and noon to 5 p.m. Fridays.
