Shea Homes at Ardiente features resort amenities

Shea Homes at Ardiente, an age-qualified community in North Las Vegas, offers resort-style amenities.

Kyle Tibbitts, general manager of Shea Homes at Ardiente, said baby boomers are moving to resort-style communities in droves. Whether homebuyers are empty-nesters in the height of their careers or are looking to enjoy retirement to the fullest, homebuyers are drawn to resort-style living.

“Before, it was a waiting game. You had to wait until you officially retired to start enjoying the life you’d worked so hard to build,” Tibbitts said. “Now, we’re seeing that after decades of clocking in and ramping up, more and more Americans are either checking out of the workforce earlier in their careers or they’re empty-nesters simply making the move to a resort-style community before retirement. At Ardiente, you can change your life simply by changing your address.”

Last month, Ardiente unveiled its Shea3D Refresh model. An entertainment-centric plan, the Refresh model takes hosting friends and family to an entirely new level with a great room that will make homeowners rethink all of their previous “great rooms,” Tibbitts said.

The Refresh model is part of Ardiente’s innovative Shea3D collection, which empowers homebuyers to choose the layout of their favorite Shea3D model. Buyers can choose one of three plans to create the home of their dreams — kitchen-, outdoor- and entertainment-centric plans.

“That’s why Ardiente calls these customizable designs YourPlans instead of floor plans, because your home is all about you,” said Tibbitts.

The community was recently named No. 1 Most Trusted Resort Community Builder for the second year in a row based on the Lifestory Research Most Trusted Builders in America Study.

“Every day, we hear people who are touring the community say, ‘This is it. This is where I want to spend the rest of my life,’ ” Tibbitts said. “It’s so exciting for us to help them take that next step so they can start building their dream homes, pursuing their passions and making new friends.”

Tibbitts said Ardiente’s energy-efficient SheaXero — No Electric Bill Homes and the community’s array of amenities appeal to homebuyers.

Currently ranked the third top-selling community in Southern Nevada, Ardiente is at 5840 Summit Greens. Among its amenities is a 20,000-square-foot clubhouse, featuring two resort-style pools, fitness center, lighted tennis courts lined for pickleball, bocce courts, chipping and putting greens, billiards room, game room and business center.
