Super PACs launching TV, radio ads to beat Trump in Las Vegas

Latino Victory Fund and Priorities USA have partnered for Spanish-language television ads in Las Vegas that will start on Labor Day and run through Election Day.

The two super PACs, which support Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, said in a joint statement that they’re committed to defeating Donald Trump, the Republican Party’s presidential nominee.

The ads start less than a week after Trump’s immigration speech in Arizona on Wednesday, when he spoke of the need to build a wall with sensors along the Mexican border and deport immigrants in the country illegally who have criminal backgrounds, among other steps.

In a related move, Priorities USA and People For the American Way, a progressive advocacy group, will start anti-Trump Spanish radio ads in Nevada on Sept. 27.

The initial cost of the ads from all three groups is $800,000 combined for television and radio spots, a spokesman for the organizations said.
