A 19-year-old Rutgers University student died early Sunday morning after being taken from a fraternity house “(appearing) to be in distress.”
Caitlyn P. Kovacs was at a “small gathering” at the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity house in the early hours of Sunday morning when her friends noticed a problem, according to NJ.com. They took her to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 3:19 a.m.
A preliminary investigation showed her death may have been alcohol related.
