Texas man injured after flying off roof of driver’s car

HOUSTON — Police in Houston say a driver involved in a fender-bender sped away with the other person hanging onto the hood of her car.
KHOU-TV reports that the woman backed into the other driver’s car in Houston’s Rice Village area early Saturday. The man in the other vehicle tried to stop her from leaving to obtain her information.
Instead, she hit the gas and sped away. The man was thrown from the hood and hit his head in the fall.
He was hospitalized in serious condition.
Authorities are still searching for the woman. They believe she was intoxicated at the time of the incident.
