This is the most popular car in Nevada
With more than 253 million cars and trucks on U.S. roads today, it’s a wonder what the most popular car is.
In most of the country, it’s the Ford F150, according to Every Car Listed. It makes sense, if you’re taking the American cliche route of baseball and pickup trucks.
So what do Florida and Nevada have in common here? They choose the Nissan Altima over the truck, as does New Jersey.
Nevadans also spend an average of $20,960 on their cars, a little less than a new Altima.
Californians, unsurprisingly, generally favor a BMW 3 Series before the rest, and Hawaiians lean toward Honda CR-Vs. Arizona is the only state with a minivan as the front runner.
Speaking of vans, Nevada doesn’t break into the top 10 for most sold. That honor goes to Florida, Illinois and Ohio.
And hey, truck lovers, you can be pleased to know that there are more trucks on the roads than cars — 8.7 million trucks versus 7.6 million cars.
