Unrequited love may have led to Houston murder-suicide
A Houston pharmacy worker who shot and killed a female co-worker on Wednesday before killing himself had been pursuing a relationship with the woman, according to police.
The identities of the two haven’t been released, but police told the Los Angeles Times that multiple colleagues of the two said the 58-year-old man had been trying to “enhance” his relationship with the woman before the shooting at an outpatient pharmacy.
Police said it was unclear whether the 9-millimeter handgun recovered at the scene had been obtained legally. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage from the scene.
There were no other injuries.
