Vice President Joe Biden to campaign Thursday in Las Vegas

Vice President Joe Biden will campaign in Las Vegas Thursday for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and former Nevada Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto, who is aiming to replace the retiring U.S. Sen. Harry Reid.

The Biden event will be held at the Culinary Local 226 Hall, 1630 S. Commerce St.

Doors open at 10:45 a.m.; the event begins at 12:45 p.m.

Those who want to attend the event are asked to RSVP at https://www.hillaryclinton.com.

Clinton will hold a campaign event Wednesday at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts, for herself and Cortez Masto, who is running against Rep. Joe Heck, R-Nev. Reid will soon retire.

Both are expected to discuss the economy, the high stakes for the election, and remind people they can register to vote online or in person.

The third and final presidential debate will be held at UNLV Oct. 19.
