Most Las Vegans are familiar with cicadas as the incessant buzzing sound we can’t escape for most of the summer.
They’ll be the soundtrack to our lives for the next couple months, but they’re harmless.
Just don’t try to tell that to Katya Leick, a reporter for KSNT in Kansas.
Leick was shooting a stand-up this week at Fort Riley, near Topeka, Kan., when a bunch of cicadas started buzzing around her.
She tries to bat them away, but they just come back for more. She doesn’t truly lose it until one lands on her face — watch her reaction below.
