Woodside opens Palo Vista

More than 100 home shoppers were impressed by Woodside Homes' life-inspired design at the grand opening of Palo Vista, a collection of single-family homes located in the southwest at Mountain's Edge.

Amid food, music and family entertainment, the grand opening spotlight was on Palo Vista's models, which showcase two-story floor plans ranging from 1,454 to 1,883 square feet. The homes include three or four bedrooms and two to three baths with prices starting in the mid-$100,000s. In addition, homeowners will be able to enjoy the community without having to pay special development fees .

Heading the list of features are great rooms and gourmet kitchens that include granite countertops, birch wood cabinets, pantries, stainless steel sinks and black or white General Electric appliances. Food-preparation islands are offered in the two largest plans, and select designs offer a loft or den that may be selected as an optional extra bedroom.

Master suites come with walk-in closets.

Spanish Colonial, craftsman and prairie ranch-inspired architecture gives every home a look of classic distinction, which is accented by embossed insulated steel roll-up doors enclosing two-car attached garages. Front yards are finished with drought-tolerant landscaping and automatic irrigation that reduces water use and minimizes maintenance.

To visit Palo Vista, exit Interstate 15 at Blue Diamond Road and go west to Buffalo Drive. Turn left on Buffalo into Mountain's Edge and follow the signs . For additional information, call 889-7809 or visit woodside-homes.com/lasvegas .
