Centennial Buick GMC, Mazda see sales soar

Alex Estay, general manager of Centennial Buick GMC and Centennial Mazda, said sales are increasing at his northwest Las Vegas automobile dealership.

“We have seen all of our lines and our used vehicles show significant gains throughout the summer and by early accounts (this will) continue into fall.”

Centennial Buick GMC is at 6501 Centennial Center Blvd. and the Mazda dealership is at 6525 Centennial Center Blvd., alongside each other.

In addition to new vehicles, there are about 200 preowned makes and models at the dealership.

The General Motors side of the Centennial dealership stocks the complete Buick and GMC line including cars, trucks and SUVs. The Mazda complex features the complete line of Mazdas.

Estay said both stores share the same basic sales philosophy: “Do whatever you can to please the customer.”

“I think one of the big reasons for our upward trend in sales is because of the products that Mazda has been producing. I feel that the biggest reason is the new 2013 Mazda3,” he said.

Mazda3 has been receiving favorable reviews from many of the national trade publications, touting its fun-to-drive nature, stable ride, solid cabin appointments and agile handling.

“I think Mazda has done a really good job in looking at the success of vehicles like the Ford Focus and the Chevrolet Cruz and parlayed that success into the development of the Mazda3,” Estay said.

The Centennial stores are open Monday through Saturday. For more information or a list of the dealership’s inventory, visit www.centennialgmc.com and www.centennialmazda.com.
