Land Rover sponsors veteran wall

With the help of Land Rover Las Vegas, America Helping Heroes officially launched a National Wall of Gratitude to Our Troops at last month's Henderson car show.

All throughout Las Vegas, 8-feet-by-4-feet panels of the wall will be in various businesses and community hot spots where people can take the opportunity to write a message of support and appreciation to our brave men and women in uniform.

The National Wall of Gratitude will make its way all over America to gather as many messages of praise and appreciation as possible.

From here in Las Vegas to New York to Chicago to the smallest towns in America, there will be an opportunity for Americans to utilize a part of the wall and participate in a national gesture of honor and appreciation.

"People forget that a simple thank you from a fellow American means so much to our heroes," says Angela Alegna, founder of America Helping Heroes. "We started the Wall of Gratitude for two reasons -- to give the community an opportunity to say thanks and to remind our heroes that they are revered and greatly appreciated. It has been a moving experience to see so many men, women and children write warm and heartfelt messages to our troops."

America Helping Heroes is a grassroots organization dedicated to the well-being of post-9/11 combat veterans.
