Tae kwon do keeps salesman focused

Mario Harris, salesperson for Friendly Ford, recently returned from the tae kwon do Spanish Open in Alicante, Spain. Fifty countries participated and more than 1,500 competitors from around the world came to honor and compete in tae kwon do.

Harris is part of the 424 USA National Team and he brings that same mentality from tae kwon do to Friendly Ford.

"It's a confident state of mind," Harris said. "I use the self-esteem from martial arts in my daily dealings at Friendly Ford. The confidence in the Ford product is at an all-time high, and I present myself with that same quality of inner strength that I bring into the ring, to Friendly Ford."

Harris has practiced martian arts since he was 8 years old. He is a seven-time state champion, six-time west regional champion, two-time medal winner at nationals and, earlier this year, Harris qualified for the national team. Harris also commented that he owes the majority of his training to Master Terry Blackburn at Two Dragons Tae Kwon Do in Las Vegas.

Friendly Ford has always been locally owned and operated at 660 N. Decatur Blvd., just north of U.S. Highway 95. Reach the dealership at 870-7221 or find them online at www.FriendlyFordLV.com.
