This is your last weekend for free parking at MGM Resort properties

Planning to head to the Strip anytime soon? This is officially your last weekend (June 4-5) to park for free at MGM properties — unless you’re a local, that is.

Starting Monday, paid parking will go into effect at New York-New York, Bellagio, Aria, Vdara and Monte Carlo. Followed by Luxor and Circus Circus valet on Tuesday and MGM Grand and the Mirage on Wednesday.

Last but not least, Mandalay Bay and Delano will enforce the new parking fees starting June 13.

As far as pricing goes, anyone — regardless of their state of residence or M Life loyalty status — will be able to park in any MGM Resorts’ self-parking lots for free for one-hour.

Through December 29, anyone with a valid Nevada driver’s license can park up to 24 hours in self-parking free of charge. In order to redeem this promotion, residents must scan the bar code from their drivers license at a pay kiosk before exiting. The free parking for locals deal is not valid for temporary Nevada residents — aka “snowbirds.”

For vehicles parked longer than four hours at Aria, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, Mirage and New York-New York, the maximum fee will be $10 per day. If you opt for valet parking, you’ll face a $18 fee at these properties, as well as the Delano and Vdara.

If you’re a Gold, Pearl, Platinum or NOIR-level M Life loyalty program member, you’re privy to free self-parking. Those with Gold, Platinum or NOIR status also receive complimentary valet parking.

There are some options if you’re adamant against paying for parking.

Currently, MGM Resorts is the only gaming group that will enforce paid parking. In addition to parking off-property and walking to your destination, the Las Vegas Monorail is also an option.
