Phelps within a few of Olympic record

Michael Phelps will swim finals in the 200 butterfly and 4X200 freestyle relay on Tuesday, meaning he has every chance to win two medals and become the all-time leader in Olympics history with 19.

He would surpass the 18 won by gymnast Larisa Latynina of the Soviet Union.

"I made my first Olympic team in the (200 butterfly),” Phelps said. “The shorter races are a lot better for me now that I'm older."
