First concerts announced for Hard Rock pool’s summer series

Sammy Hagar never seems to get out of his beach wear, does he?

It’s like the dude comes outfitted in flip-flops in the same way a dolphin comes equipped with flippers.

And so Hagar is a fitting choice to kick off the Soundwave summer concert series at the Hard Rock pool, whose first shows have been announced.

The festivities begin on July 2 with Sammy Hagar’s All-American Beach Party (we’re glad that he clarified that the party is, in fact, all-American, so as not to be confused with his Azerbaijani bashes).

Two more concerts have also been scheduled thus far, including stripper-approved rockers Buckcherry, who will team up with Vegas’ own Otherwise on Aug. 1, and reggae lite favorite Matisyahu, who co-headlines with Ozomatli and special guest Makua Rothman on Aug. 29.

More shows will be announced soon.

Tickets the aforementioned concert are already on sale.
